13 Facts about the Heritage Profile

Fact #1: The Heritage Profile™ is a vital part of your One2One Coaching™ experience.
Your Heritage Profile provides clear and consistent insight into your abilities, and promotes effective communication between you and your Coach. Here's how it works: when you become a One2One Member, a highly trained Heritage Interviewer conducts a structured telephone interview with you. The interview process reveals how you communicate with others, how you want others to communicate with you, and how you can leverage your abilities to achieve your fullest potential. (You don't need to "prepare" for the interview; just be yourself!)

After the interview, an advance summary copy of your Profile is sent to your Coach. Buffini & Company also sends you a Heritage Profile Report and a CD with information about your unique abilities. You receive this report approximately two weeks after your interview.

Fact #2: Your Heritage Profile helps you unlock your full potential.
The One2One experience is a journey, and your Heritage Profile is essential equipment for the road ahead. Buffini & Company Coaches receive extensive, continuous training in the language of the Heritage Profile. This training enables them to help you maximize your natural gifts – and develop the skills you need to achieve your life and business goals.

Fact #3: Your Heritage Profile is yours for life.
Your Heritage Profile will always provide you with value. This is because the fundamental structure of your unique personality does not change as you grow. Learning how to manage your personality is a process of growth and change, and at times you may feel like you're becoming a different person. However, even as you develop new skills and expand your competence, your unique abilities do not change over time – making your Heritage Profile an investment that pays off now and in the long run.

Fact #4: The Heritage Profile identifies your natural abilities, or "core motivations."
These abilities include your natural selling style; the way you learn and process information; how you naturally communicate; how much "people time" and/or "alone time" you need; how you experience time itself; the part of a task you are most enthusiastic about; your natural pace through tasks; and how you plan your future.

Fact #5: The Heritage Profile goes well beyond standard "personality assessments."
Personality assessments generally group individuals to make it easier to "get a handle" on their personality. While this can be useful, the Heritage Profile focuses on individuality, not "types." It goes much deeper than other assessments and uncovers each person's natural abilities. And, in addition to being informative and reliable, the Heritage Profile process is affirming and encouraging.

Your Coach uses your Heritage Profile to help you achieve your business and personal growth goals. Together, you'll develop a "blueprint" that leverages your strengths – and shows where you must develop the skills you need to attain your goals. The insight provided by the Heritage Profile works as a catalyst to break through business and communication roadblocks. When your Coach communicates with you in a way that honors your "true self," you'll find the inspiration and encouragement you need as you strive for success in each of the Five Circles – Spiritual, Family, Business, Financial, and Personal.

Fact #7: There's more to your Heritage Profile interview than meets the ear.
While your interview seems like a natural conversation, it's actually a carefully structured process, based on a series of specifically designed questions. The Heritage Profile Interviewer is highly trained to listen for patterns in your answers that, like a fingerprint, provide the content and context necessary to assess and create your unique Heritage Profile.

Fact #8: Heritage Profile Interviewers are naturally skilled and highly trained.
As with One2One Coaches, Heritage Profile Interviewers must be good listeners with a high level of relational empathy. Interviewers receive thorough training in the Heritage Profile "Structured Listening" processes. This training emphasizes our proprietary methods of sifting, processing, and assessing large amounts of information to identify the core truths about each personality. Our Interviewers also receive ongoing training to keep their skills sharp. And because every Heritage Profile Interviewer follows a precise methodology, the unique features of your Profile will become apparent no matter which of them performs your Interview.

Fact #9: Your Heritage Profile interview happens after you're paired with a Coach.
Shortly after joining One2One Coaching, new clients are taken through a question-and-answer session by a Buffini & Company Client Care Representative. This session ensures we have enough information about you and your business to make an informed coaching match.

Fact #10: The Heritage Profile was developed specifically for use with Coaching.
The Heritage Profile provides clear and consistent insight into your abilities, and promotes effective communication between you and your Coach. It has roots in psychological theories about the uniqueness of each personality, and the idea that some behavior is inherited. The Heritage Profile expands on other personality assessment tools (such as the MBTI and DISC) and combines different assessment methods to create a practical tool with depth and breadth. And, while most personality assessment tools are based on questionnaires, the Heritage Profile uses a "Structured Listening" format, which accurately captures the patterns that reveal your unique abilities.

Fact #11: The information you disclose during your Heritage Profile interview is confidential.
To protect your privacy, Heritage Profile Interviewers and One2One Coaches follow the same strict policy regarding confidentiality.

Fact #12: If you miss your Heritage Profile interview, you can reschedule it.
The Heritage Abilities Department will call you to reschedule your Profile interview within a week of missing your appointment. However, you can also call 800 945 3485 x 3 and speak with someone in Client Care at your convenience to reschedule.

Fact #13: You don't have to be in One2One Coaching to get a Heritage Profile.
